Diocese of Gloucester – Draft Vision

24th September 2016 by Ros Greenhalgh Leave a Comment

bishop-rachelPlease take time to read the Draft Vision (below) and prayerfully consider it. At this stage it is a draft document and I am looking forward to discussing it with you at the Clergy Conference. At the conference we will be able to talk more about how we might work locally and across the Diocese to bring it to life. After the conference, the document will be finalised, and we will begin to bring people together to develop plans for implementing it in some specific ways.

In this period before the conference, I hope that you will share it with people locally (including retired clergy) and gather their thoughts to inform your discussions in Swanwick. You might like to email it round your worshipping communities, school governors etc or bring it to any suitable forums you have between now and the conference – please share with others as you see best. You can print it out in black and white from this version here.

As you talk to others, please remember that the key questions we are focusing on at this stage are:

·         What particularly excites you about this vision and why?

·         What do you find challenging and why?
