Messy Church Launched

24th September 2016 by Ros Greenhalgh Leave a Comment

We all had a really lovely time. And most of all we really appreciate having such a lovely team of people to make some lovely moments. See you next time.messychurch-01

Thank you from me and the clan xxx

Those were some words of thanks following our first ‘The Ark (Messy Church) at Meon Vale where we learned about Jesus being the ‘true vine’.

Everyone enjoyed the activities – we did vegetable printing, colouring, icing vines and made a lovely autumn ‘flower’ arrangement with greenery from the garden, blackberries and even hedgehogs made from courgettes and sprigs of rosemary. Our favourite activity was treading grapes and making a beautiful picture of the vine with our ‘messy’ feet!

messychurch-04We all joined together for our story about The Vine and for some fun songs before having our meal together of jacket potatoes with all sorts of lovely fillings followed by cake. messychurch-02

The Ark (Messy Church) sets sail again on Saturday 1st October departing at 4.30pm and landing at 5.45pm in Meon Vale Village Hall.

Do come along, you will be made to feel very welcome and will have lots of fun (and food of course)!
